Paul was primary researcher on a University of Leeds Careers Centre based project examining the attitudes of external employers to recruiting university researchers. (EMPRESS)If an organisation did employ them, then what were the attributes they valued? If they did not consider employing PhD students, what were the reasons? These findings have clearly informed the work we do with Post Graduates and helps them understand the ‘value’ of their skill development.
